IKEA, good or bad.

I've heard people saying that the IKEA in Ashton is an eyesore.
Well it's not the best bit of architecture I've ever seen. Not even the best in Ashton, but I think it's good to have a world famous multi-national company in our town centre. So it gets the thumbs up from me.

So here it is, overlooking Oldham Road, dispassionately staring towards the Theatre Tavern, not that we actually have a theatre any more.

  1. I'm sure the people in the area have mixed feelings when they look out the window.
But it's great to be able to nip round the corner for a Billy bookcase whenever you feel the need.

  2. That's if you can ever find Billy and get out alive.

  3. Always be the Robin Hood to me.

  4. A U shape is symmetrical so rotating it 180ยบ means that it's a mirror of your mirror image, hence, the correct orientation. Unless you've used patterned tiles.

    Please post a photograph.

    Thank You
