Looks like the old fire station heading towards Piccadilly? I absolutely love the old buildings around Manchester. My Great Grandfather was a stone mason and worked on the Town Hall.
Actually the angle was gained by sitting on the top deck of the 216 from Ashton, and it was a Stagecoach bus. Don't know if our friend, the anonymous 'Oldham 100' was driving of not.
