Strange Fruit indeed


What the heck are these yellow thingys, dropping out of the trees?

The picture doesn’t show it, but there were plenty wasps sampling the goods. I didn’t linger...

    The "yellow thingys" are mirabelle plums and they are perfectly edible. Free food!

    Mirabelle plums - well I never. Perhaps I should have fort the wasps off and collected a few.
