But over the years it’s changed: Yates's Wine Lodge, Dr. Browns, Legends, then was to be The Lodge, but that never happened. It’s now derelict. We’ve lost about half the pubs in Ashton and of the ones that are left, many are ‘For Sale’ or ‘To Let’.

Ashton-under-Lyne, abandoned
The ‘Ashton Town Centre Sculpture’ and behind it, as I remember, Yates's. A busy Ashton centre pub. But over the years it’s changed: Yates's Wine Lodge, Dr. Browns, Legends, then was to be The Lodge, but that never happened. It’s now derelict.
