Chester, Shropshire Union Canal

Another shot from Northgate Street, looking the other way this time.
The view shows the Shropshire Union Canal as it runs through the centre of Chester along side the city walls.
This part of the canal had to be cut through solid rock.

My father used to own a narrow boat, and we’ve been through Chester on this canal before.
