Classic Race Aarhus


Went to the Classic Race Aarhus on Sunday. They race all sorts of formula round a closed road circuit.
Difficult to get pics from behind the safety fence but here are a few snaps.

I know I’m meant to be a rabid cyclist, but I love watching cars race as sport. I just don’t see them as much use as day to day transport.

    The cars in the first photo are Porsches, the second one's a Morgan, and the car in the third photo is a Lotus, I think the 101 model from 1989.

    Thanks Dave. They also had some old big block Fords. I didn't get to see them race officially, but did see them 'progressing quickly' between traffic lights a couple of days back. Impressive.

    There's something about an old Porsche 911 without the bulbous wheelarches...very nice.
